AGRIPLANTA open-air exhibition was launched in 2011, as an agricultural event with a unique concept in Romania, combining crop production trial fields, commented agricultural machinery demonstrations, debates on interesting agriculture-related topics and special events for companies, specialists, farmers and families.

The second edition of the open-air exhibition AGRIPLANTA will be held between 07-10 June 2012, close to Bucharest, near Fundulea town, Calarasi county (from A2 Highway Bucharest-Constanta, Fundulea exit to the South, then driving 1 km on DJ402 county road towards Nana village - Oltenita).

AGRIPLANTA, ONE-OF-A-KIND EVENT IN ROMANIA:

• the only open-air exhibition combining crop production trial fields, commented machinery demonstrations and exhibiting stands;
• a viable concept, similar to the one developed in several European countries by the German Agricultural Society (DLG e.V.) and adapted to the Romanian market;
• 20 hectares of arable land as exhibiting area;
• opportunity for new client contracts, sustainable business partnerships and dialogue between agriculture professionals.

AGRIPLANTA FIRST EDITION - top sales and attendance (June 2011):

• 5.500 visitors (farmers, specialists and authorities) from more than 28 Romanian counties, from the Republic of Moldova and other countries
• 99 exhibitors and co-exhibitors representing brands from 10 countries, 75% of which achieved deals and contacts beyond expectations at the show.
• 20 crop production trial fields
• 15 commented machinery demonstrations (crop protection, soil tillage and sowing)
• 70 farmers tested their own skills and the tractors’ capabilities (”Tractor and driver” area)
